The Fungus
Riddled with illustrious pose,
Rewarded with substantial prose,
Award me now like she was chose,
Lay splay all reason, sense dispose!
Questions posed yet answers heed
To random whims that spout great weeds
Where found come fungi’s unkempt needs,
This species rich with corrupt creed.
In darkness (soil large with damp)
The fungus sits at head of camp;
Pray sunshine shoots its thermal lamp
A way that nullifies this tramp!
Of her my words can never show
How fitness reservations grow;
In every failing, frightful low
She strikes a power-laden blow.
